What is Lepam?

Lepam is a traditional Ayurvedic external therapy in which herbal pastes are applied to affected parts of the body to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and treat various skin and joint conditions. The term “Lepam” literally means application or coating. This treatment draws out toxins, soothes the skin, and provides localized relief. The choice of herbs is customized based on the patient’s dosha imbalance and specific health condition.

  • The treated area may be covered or left open based on the body part and weather conditions.
